Sukkot – Feast of Tabernacles – Resources

The Feast of Tabernacles, Sukkot, is a time of rejoicing!
We rejoice in our redemption from Egypt {sin},
recognizing how we dwell in temporary dwellings now
but that one day we will dwell eternally with Him…
We rejoice in Messiah’s birth,
how He came and tabernacled {dwelt} among us…
and we rejoice that one day He will come
and tabernacle among us once again…
and we rejoice in the coming marriage supper of the Lamb…
and so much more He has done and what is to come!!

“Speak to the children of Yisra’ĕl, saying,
‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month
is the Festival of Booths for seven days to יהוה.”
Leviticus 23:34

“And you shall observe it as a festival to יהוה for seven days in the year
– a law forever in your generations. Observe it in the seventh month.
Dwell in booths for seven days; all who are native Yisra’ĕlites dwell in booths,
so that your generations know that I made the children of Yisra’ĕl dwell in booths
when I brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim {Egypt}. I am יהוה your Elohim.’ ”
Leviticus 23:41-43

“And it shall be that all who are left from all the gentiles
which came up against Yerushalayim, shall go up from year to year
to bow themselves to the Sovereign, יהוה of hosts,
and to observe the Festival of Booths.”
