Sadly, all too often this collection of Precious Words is treated as a bag of trail mix, of sorts…
… picking out the ‘favorites’, what ‘tastes’ good, has a pleasant ‘aroma’, or the ones that we grew up with or the ones that we think or have been taught are ‘relevant’ this ‘day and age’… taking the familiar, liked, or taught pieces and leaving the rest in the bag… because they just really aren’t for us. … maybe our forefathers … but not us.

When will we learn? When will we realize?
… after He has said, many times…
His Word… His whole counsel… His Instructions… are FOREVER…
His Word is not as a bag of trail mix, to pick and choose…
it is all relevant… it still applies… It stands FOREVER.
It is not “done away with”… it is not for only “those people”… It is for His children…
His children that love Him, believe Him and desire to be Set-Apart for Him.

It’s not supposed to be a “pick-and-choose” relationship.
It’s not a Trail Mix Truth.
